Facilities unlock guide
Fifteen facility types expand your island. Early shops track resident count and friendships; later social spots track happiness level-ups. Thresholds after News Station are community-reported and can vary slightly by save.
How unlocks work
Stack residents, clear ponderings, kindle friendships, and raise happiness. The Wishing Fountain also expands land, which is required for late attractions like MiiWheel.
Shop reset habits
Food and clothing inventories rotate. Check Fresh Kingdom and Where & Wear often. Expensive interiors at T&C Reno are worth saving for — fountain wishes can add sets and grant a free copy when unlocked.
Housing
Every resident gets a Mii House. Mansions appear when two Miis choose to live together after strong friendship or romance. Shared homes accelerate bonding.
